China is the one the world most oldest civilization. In today’s world the largest democratic state and largest population. China is the largest exporter of goods in today’s date and the largest economy of the World. They are the most hardworking people. People of China took their nation to the seventh sky in every field. And they are not stopping at it.
If we read the history of Chinese culture, they were very tough people. They fought many battles and they survive these battles. To protect themselves from foreign invasion they decides to build a wall. This wall is named as “The Great Wall of China”.
The Great Wall of China
Build only to prevent invaders out of China in 220 B.C. Stretching approximately 13,170 miles (21,196 kilometers) from east to west of China. The Great Wall, one of the greatest wonders of the world, was listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO in 1987. Just like a gigantic dragon, it winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus.
With a history of more than 2,000 years, some of the sections are now in ruins or have disappeared. However, it is still one of the most appealing attractions all around the world owing to its architectural grandeur and historical significance.
People from all over the World came to visit this gigantic structure, Four houses can run parallel at one time on the wall. Every year the tourist number increases. Great Wall of China has inspired and inspiring many countries to build the walls around their boarders.
In Ming Dynasty(1368-1644) most of the portion of the wall which we see today was built. It starts from Hushan in the east to Jiayuguan Pass in the west traversing Liaoning, Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Gansu and Qinghai.
This wall has the pride to be the only object seen from the moon.
